My husband and I had been staying at Intown Suites Greensboro, NC Airport location from 7/19/2018 until the early morning on 8/5/2018 when we were kicked out without any notice. We had also stayed at the Highpoint, NC location from 7/11 - 7/18 but left due to the nasty condition of the room and hotel.

We never caused any ptoblems at either location. During our stay I had at the latter I had a mirror fall and hit me in the head while sitting on the couch and talking on the phone. I told Monica the manager and the Maintenance man about the incident. There was no report made about this.

I left the mirror in the spot where it fell so they could see what happened. We then had an air conditioner that was constantly leaking into the carpet and spreading and nothing was done about thia for 2 days! We had to rope the area off, so to speak, so we didn't step in the puddle. After that things were ok until i tried to get the room i had booked for the final semi/week we were there.

I booked us a cheaper room on 8/1/2018, that was more affordable online because we are trying to live off my husbands disability checks. When i went down to secure our room as soon as they opened at 11am on 8/3/2018 Monica very rudely told me they didn't have that room available anymore. It was a 1 double bed room. They had 2 daus to tell me this, but didn't.

When i asked her if there was another room they could substitute for THEIR nooking mistake i was rudely told NO and asked why i didn't just come to her for a different room instead of booking online. I told her that i had boooked online every other week and was never told i should do any different. I was then informed that all they had open was a Queen room and that it would cost me more money. I then went upstairs and tried to speak with someone at the corporate office, but noone eould take my call.

The msn i dpoke with took my name and number and said he would have a supervisor call me back. I had no choice but to get the last $30 my hisband and I had and pay the extra for the room. We moved our things accross the hall and 2 doors down to the new Queen room. It was fine and due to my disabilities and my hisbands we were jist glad that we were done moving and settled and tried to enjoy ourselves.

We had one day to recover from that ordeal. On the night of the 4th I accidentally locked our card key in the room when we went out to do laundry and such. My husband called the after hours number for the night attendant to get a key to return to the room. She never said a word to us except to ask the name on the account and seemed to have an attitude.

We went up to the room to try and get some rest but the washer didn't spin right and after drying thwm for two hours they were still wet and stunk! Took the last $5.50 we had to try and dry them. Out od mobey we gave ul and laid them oit in the room. My husband finally fell asleep around 6am, and due to my pain issues i didn't fall asleep untillaround 7-730.

A few minutes later there were 2 police officers and the night attendant outside the door. They told me my husband texted the hotel an inappropriate photo. Apparently, after trying to figure out what happened and how, it turned out that when he called the after hours attendant for the key he somehow saved that number to his friends contact info. His phone screen is cracked where the nimber shows and he didnt know it was the wrong number.

They all refused to listen or let us explain and told us tp pack IMMEDIATELY and leave. The attendant wouldn't even tell us if we were going to get any mpney back considering we only had the room for less than 48 hours and still had 5 days. The officers and attendant were very rude and didnt care that we had almost an entire house to pack up. I have several musculoskeletal issues including a herniated disk in my back, and my husband is very sick and on disability because of chronic illnesses that are life threatening.

We were not even given a luggage cart to use! A few hpurs later we managed to get it packed and I'm still suffering physically because of this. By the time we were almost done we were able to explain to the officers what happened and they understood and were very nice to us. One even asked why we didn't have a luggage cart to use.

At that point i was in so much pain my husband had to make me sit down because i was shaking and crying from the pain. I could do no more. She told us and the officer we had no cart because she couldn't get in the office to get one, but she goes in the office to program keys. She also went in the office to print out our "paperwork" that we asked her for numerous time and were told we couldn't have anything stating why we were being kicked out with no pay.

My husband did try to call the office the day after to see about getting our money, because we spent the rest of what we had on yhe bigger room and broken laundry facilities. So we were left homeless, broke and broken on the street with nowhere to go. If there is anything you could do to help us it would be greatly appreciated. The least we were hoping for was our monet back, but have considered talking ro a lawyer about this.

We almost split up due to all the stress and emotional trauma that occured due to this incident. Thank you for your interest and anything you may be able to do to help.

Sincerely,

Julie and Eric Tucker
